2017 Pastoral Care Intensive - Bendigo

11th - 13th August

Jesus told his disciples, ‘I give you a new commandment: love one another… If there is this love among you, then all will know you are my disciples.’ Later the Apostle Paul told the leaders of the church at Ephesus, ‘Keep watch over yourselves and over all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has given you charge, as shepherds of the church of the Lord… So be on the alert; remember how for three years, night and day, I never ceased to counsel each of you, and how I wept over you.'
Pastoral Care is simply the study of how to love and counsel one another in the life of the Kingdom of God: Intelligently and passionately.
Join us to be inspired and trained in this practice.

'The enjoyment of God should be the supreme end of spiritual technique; and it is in that enjoyment of God that we feel not only saved in the Evangelical sense, but safe: we are conscious of belonging to God, and hence are never alone…'

British psychiatrist J.S. Mackenzie
