A number of Cornerstone communities, teams and members participate periodically in Scripture Union beach missions and other camps, especially in NSW.
A number of Cornerstone Community members are working in partnership with Genr8 Ministries as chaplains or scripture (SRE) teachers in several regional schools. Our Diploma of Christian Studies meets the minimum requirements of Genr8 for theological training for school SRE teaching and chaplaincy.
Cornerstone Community operates a primary school outside Dubbo at our Burrabadine Mission Community, with the support and oversight of these two peak bodies of independent and Christian schools sectors in NSW.
Offering an integrated Christian approach for K-6 education, the school includes children from families within Cornerstone, but also caters for a growing number of other Dubbo children.
Cornerstone Community has had a fruitful partnership with Teen Ranch over many years. Many Ranch staff have completed our training, and our members have assisted at various camps there. Both mission team members and graduates have worked for longer periods at the Ranch.
Swan Hill members and students are trained by ACCESS Ministries to teach Christian Religious Education in Victorian government schools. In the past 3 years 40 people from Swan Hill Cornerstone Community have been trained and have had extensive experience teaching CRE through the work of ACCESS Ministries.
SURRENDER exists to raise up the next generation of Christian young people to live the radical call of Jesus amongst the margins. Cornerstone is a hosting partner in SURRENDER along with groups like TEAR, Just Salvos, Urban Seed, the Baptist Union of Victoria and Jisas Wantaim. Members of Cornerstone have been joining in SURRENDER conferences over the past few years - making pizzas as well as lots of friends! Martin Watson is currently on the SURRENDER Council and Andrew and Rose Vincent will join the creative/operations team.

Midnite Cafe is a chilled-out and musically rich coffee house that appears semi-regularly at venues around Dubbo. Cornerstone helped get Midnite Cafe going in a joint effort with the Uniting Church to provide an excellent and positive 'tribal' experience especially for young people in town.
FEAST is a creative arts club at Newcastle uni launched by our mission community there. Feast is an acronym for: Food ... Expression ... Art ... Song ... Thought.
The club encourages creativity, participation and appreciation.
Each year, Covenant College's Year 9 students visit our Swan Hill community for 3 days, twice a year, to engage in community service programs and receive input from the young leaders at Cornerstone. Selected students also attend our Leadership Camp at Swan Hill with potential leaders from other Christian Colleges including Plenty Valley, Ballarat, Heathdale and Chairo.
